Default Surf Fishing 6/7 or 6/8

Anyone else plan on a little mid-week surf fishing around Holly Beach/going west.....?

I'll probably take off to fish one of those days, it seems as if the weather would set up well.

What is everyones thoughts?

I'm thinking of taking the yak to the tide breakers Tuesday or Wednesday morning of next week. Hopefully I'll catch some finger mullet and croakers in the cast net when I get there because I want to fish the rocks and surf exclusively with live bait for the she hogs.

How long y'all like wind to blow out of north before hitting the surf? Lake Charles may get 2-3 days but forecast has Cameron only getting one. Last time I went it been north in Cameron for 3 days and nights and water was cleanest I evewr saw it

2 days can make it turn green, 3 days even better. It can become fishable with less than 48 hours of N wind but it depends on the condition of the water before the wind switches. Even on the last day when wind switches East then South the beach is usually fishable.

I'm just not sure if rutherford with the river would be better fishing in general or if Holly Beach would be better.
