Default West fork 8/22

Launched at Theriot rd at 830 this mornin for a little R&R on the water. River was high and running hard. Water quality was pretty good given the circumstances. Tried to fish a few spots on the main river but current wouldn't allow it! Headed to west fork to get out the current and conditions were perfect
....with the exception of a few thunderstorms but that's when the fish wanted to bit best so I stayed. Fished the south end of the fork hitting isolated trees, docks, and bulk heads. Water averaged 81 deg and had about 12" of visibility and even more in some places. Caught 16 total most around 10"-12" and kept 3 for dinner! They were caught on square bills and senkos! One of the keepers even had a small bass in its belly....kids thought that was neat! God bless!
