9-16-17 Calcasieu Crappie!

I always found the best time to fish white perch on Calcasieu from 10-2. That wat we fished Friday. Today dad had to get back and set his fantasy football lineup so we fished from 9-1130. But we caught are fish from 1015-1130. We left em biting. Found em in a different spot. 19 yesterday and 18 today. But today we had better size fish. Was neat to find them in another hole. Wish we didn't have to leave cause it was just getting good but least we got in before getting too hot and we just beat the rain. It rained for an hour out here while cleaning fish. Gonna make a day of it when I go on my 7 days off. Caught them on shiners again but this time on the main river in 10 feet of water. Normally they would be deeper than this but water is cooled down after the flood to 77 degree. Another fun short trip!
