fianlly was able to get on the water today for the first time in weeks , i had fritz in my boat and optimax had his mom and brother, this morning there was some wind and we found some decent water that soon muddied up, bounced around looking for a solid bite never found one so we bounced back to where we started this morning to find cleaner water after the wind laid down. fritz and i ended with 20 specks give or take and a few reds we left a decent bite to try and beat new orleans traffic and optimax stayed which payed off for he , he ended with around 50 specks. we caught em on catch 2000's, brown devil eyes, crurly tail grubs and had a few blowups on top water but no hook ups.
