Cocodrie Smokodrie
Went out to Cocodrie yesterday (3/27) and the only fish we caught were at Schmoopy's restaurant and we tore em up there!!
Wind was blowing 20mph so we fished some back bays in Dulac and ran into chocolate/fresh water. Tried to make it out to some rigs and didn't make it past Coco's as the ship channel had 2-3 footers with that steady south wind rolling. Even in a big whaler we got beat up worse than W in a spelling bee... Gave up around noon and called it a day. Mother nature better kick it in high gear as fishing down there is tough right now!
