Dont think you can get out of your boat around the weirs, i'm about 95% sure you cant........just throw a few lines out on each side of the boat by the rocks.

Any luck with crabs yet? I am itching to get some. I am in Baton Rouge, but we usually go near LaPlace for quick trips and Grand Isle when we are staying overnight. Thanks for any suggestions.

When doing so it is recommended that the appropriate clothing of a bullet proof vest to go with the life jacket be worn.
