Bounce Hot spring time action on "big lake"

The last week by far has yielded the best catches of trout, redfish and sea turtles so far this year. It seems that the Corky Fat Boy is so versatile that you can catch ANYTHING including sea turtles on it. Picture to follow maybe. Texas Tackle Factory killer minnows in the mumpy, east beast and opening night were the colors of choice. This is great bait that is tough and flexible enough to put out some great action. Capt Bobby Stansel along with his brother Kirk have been smoking some really solid trout in the 3 to 4 pound range and lots of big Redfish on Mirrolure she dogs and catch 2000 and Gulp soft plastics. Limits of speckled trout in the 14 to 20 inch size have been coming from under picking seagulls which seem to be in the lake around the Turner Bay area. If you haven’t experienced the spring time bite on Lake Calcasieu you might as well just give up fishing. This time of the year you have EVERYTHING. Drifting oyster reefs, picking seagulls, trout slicks, top water bite and you can even catch big redfish in deep water. Don’t miss this opportunity to come and enjoy spring time on “BIG LAKE”

BREAKING NEWS The FAMOUS HACKBERRY HUSTLER soft plastic bait is getting closer to a retailer near you. The hand poured big trout bait that we have been using for years will be in the stores soon. Texas Tackle Factory is adding the Hustler to its already outstanding line of soft plastics for the Gulf Coast fisherman. Look for them soon. Kennel up
