MY food processor makes quick work of onions and other stuff that needs "chopping".
It comes out a little "coarse" on some of the stuff....but a few strokes with a knife takes care of that. Now if I could just find a better way to cut up a box or 2 of smoked sausage!!!!!!!!!!!! |

your gonna think I'm nuts, but an old metal electric fan works........has to have the big motor and the metal blades........it makes quick work of a box of sausage, you only need to chop the last inch of each link..............It does kinda toss the pieces around a bit, but its fun to use!! |

To do the soup you have to be able to use thin sliced onions.
A mandolin took me 20 min to slice all my onions. Soup came out fantastic!!! |

OK.....I will "bite". What size blade [10" or 18"???] diameter and what speed? A food processor........will really make a mess when trying to chop up sausage. |
