Seriously, no matter what anyone else in your group says or does.
DO NOT GET DRUNK THE NIGHT BEFORE OR DURING THE TRIP UNTIL THE RIDE IN! You are paying too much money to get sick at the first stop! Speaking of money, with the price of fuel now wouldn't be a bad time to take a trip. Cut down on fuel costs by around $200-250.
