Default Night fishing in Big Lake

Had a great night on the HR&G night boat last night. Left with 104 trout and 8 reds. Had quite a few 2.5 to 3.5lb trout in the bunch and a couple nice reds. Most fish were caught between 9 and 11:30 on live shrimp and pogy.

It is something like that, but if you get a bunch of friends together and split the cost it wouldn't be that bad.

It was a great time. I hope I get the chance to do it again. I'll post pics as soon as I figure out how.

Does your cable look like this where it connects to the engine. If so, I can help you get it out.

About 6 to 8 trout were caught off a bull minnow black with chart tail but the rest were caught off of live shrimp and pogies. Just for the heck of it I tried about 30 diff plastics with no luck. Shrimp and popping cork were the ticket at first until all the bait fish showed up. They were thick and it seemed as if the catch was over but we tossed a cast net caught some pogies around 3 and 4 inches long and fished with pinch on weight and kahl hooks under the swarm of bait fish and started catching like crazy again.
