Paul. What does your Hull weigh? Have a 40 Nissan on a 13"6' whaler and it'll do upper 30's. Played with the prop and got 43 once, but it was insane!! Way to fast!! Boat would go airbourne.......whaler Hull is a little over 300lb

Not sure, I do know it's way more than I want to pick up. I really have no clue. It's an Alweld 16x48 with front deck and rear bench.

If your Alweld 16X48 is the VEE LA model then we have the same hull. Not sure but a guess for a stripped down hull weight would be 450 to 550 lbs.
