Guys who have lost parents, y'all are 100% right, and I absolutely appreciate your advice. My dad was a year younger than me when he lost his father, who was much younger then than my dad is now. People tell me all the time to cherish the times I have with my parents and they are 100% right. Living so far away doesn't make it easy, but Dad and I are on the phone all the time. When we do see each other, I make sure we have good times, and I make sure they both know how much I love them both. Mom and I don't do much together, but I sit and talk with her and cook with her. Dad and I just have so many co-mingled interests. We'll watch a whole baseball game on tv together over the phone. I hope to get home once this year to go to a Tulane football game with him. It has been so long since we did that together. He is planning to come into Houston for a Tulane game at Rice this November and we'll have a trip to my camp.

Speaking of my camp, I'm headed out there right now to work on it. Y'all have a good weekend.
