They put it out for bid but had a clerical error in the process so it will be out again soon...probably waiting on our project first. I will keep you updated. It will be a big improvement to the old one. I have never used it but after touring it and hearing from all of you I have learned that changes need to be made and they are coming. The marina should be completed soon, I believe, with much more to come.

Sounds good,I use to launch there atleast 3 times a month when all I had was a small flat bottom. Good fishing close to the launch and up and down the canal. Hope it goes as planned I would use the new launch for sure. The biggest problem with the old launch is parking.

1. Have you or anyone you know ever used the Delcambre Boat Launch? Yes
2. How often do you use it? 2 - 3 times a year
3. What are some problems you see with it? Very narrow, poor access, no parking
4. If there was a new launch with plenty of parking would you use the launch? YES!!
5. What else would you like to see next to the launch? Bait/tackle shop, Ice, etc.
6. If there was a dry boat storage next to the launch how many of you would use it? YES!!
7. What size boat(s) do you have? 21'
