Talked to my cousin while ago. Last Wednesday's Creole Dog Fight had 17 fishermen catching 4 small Bass. There was a first and a second place only. Trash fish was 2 Redfish.
Most of these are guys who live down there and fished the area all their lives. Most say what I said farther up this thread. Freshwater fishing down in lower Cameron Parish sux since Rita and Ike.
