I have been on a rum kick lately. Lots of Capt. Morgan. The Capt. Morgan tatoo is pretty good.

A little Tennessee Honey Jack straight up or a dash of coke works for me.

If your looking for something with a nice kick try yukon jack with a dash of Rose's sweetened lime served in bars as a snakebite and feels like one too.

Whiskey
For plain old social weekday drinking Wild Turkey or Old Charter. Weekend drinking if you want to take it to a higher lever would be Buffalo Trace, Knob Creek, Basil Hayden

****el's is my number 1. Smoothest 90 proof I ever tasted. Always straight up at room temp.

For you Crown guys....try Tangle Ridge....twice the aging, half the price. It's a class blend. I like 18 year old Glenn as well. When in Baton Rouge.....French Market Bistro has a damn good selection of classy brown liquor |

I mix mine 70/30 with Vernor's ginger ale. It's impossible to find at bars, but at home, it pretty much all I drink. The Vernor's is not very sweet, and you can actually taste the spicieness of the ginger. Good stuff
