Absolutely but it cost way more, and is heavy as crap. Don't get me wrong Yeti is an amazing cooler just way to heavy to lug around even the 35qt is ridiculously heavy but like you said its built like a tank!

K2 is very durable not as high quality as a yeti but def has the performance of a yeti at a fraction of the price and weight.
