alright so 2004-2008 merc 225 optimax sell for anywhere between 5000-8500 on sites like ebay... (going to vary based on condition & hours)
Value of the boat itself without motor is probably 2500 or so....... If the boat is real clean and in outstanding shape it might be worth going 10-12k or so... not sure if i would want to give 14 for it. But you gotta be the one that decides.
