Used to go with a guide outta Fourchon area for several years. He got big into tournaments and we figured him out - he was scouting most the time for big fish. If we ever got into a bunch of good fish, he would leave em and take us to the rocks to catch the 12" fish
Deckhand ended up guiding after that and we went with him from then on.
My boss went to Delacroix last year and said it was the best/worst trip of his life. Got there at daylight and guide found the fish, dropped anchor and they caught their 100 trout in about an hour and that was it, time to go in
They were back at ramp and fish cleaned by 9:30. Guide had an afternoon trip to get ready for
