Yeah I get it. I just usually grab them by the gills. My hands are callist enough they don't get cut anymore. I am always thinking about catching the next one and want to get my line back in the water as quick as possible. Maybe I will appreciate it when I get old and slow (thats a joke). I can see its usefulness. Just shocked me that it was so expensive. But it is what it is. I can tell its well made. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I saw a few pictures of guys pulling the fish out of the water with them.
