I didn't have to cut anything, all I put on the front was some Bilstein 5100 shocks and have them set as high as they go. I also installed some Airlift Helper Bags that go inside of the springs on the rear end because it would sag a good bit when something was hooked up. The ride is great I find, MUCH better than my last 2 Z71's. I'm not sure about the leather.
