Just some stuff I have growing in a field

can't really tell from the seedhead but looks like it could be vaseygrass (Paspalum urvilleii)

Vaseygrass would have a whitish midvain and rough leaf margins.

Switchgrass would have white hairs on it as well as the white midvein DB described.

kinda looks like what I call razor grass or cut grass because it has a sharp edge that will cut you

Feel like the 1st is a Paspalum. May be P. dilatatum (dallisgrass), need to see it in a few days when its heading out.

Could the first pic be young Raoul grass? If so get rid of it before it takes over everything!

I was just commenting on the ideas for both of them. I'm not the best at grasses, but that first one definitely looks like a paspalum.

The second one could be a panicum.

What does it smell like. More in the cucumber or limon. If limon it's limon grass. If it sweet it sweet grass. If it sage .....yo what it smell like.
