I have a sensor device that slowed it down to idle speed and I had to idle over to the bank because the biggest ship I have ever seen was coming down the ship channel. But when I got out of its way I shut the motor off.

when it went into guardian mode it kept it from over heating. if you had a water pressure gauge you could have stopped it before it over heated. always good to have a w/p gauge to see how good your pump is cooling off your motor. they are about 30 bucks and hook up easy.

Shoudnt have hurt your motor at all. Thats what the alarms are for. They're set to go off before it gets to the point of damage.

I would look into purchasing a water pressure gauge for motor.
so next time your pressure drop you can catch it before it to late. |

Bet if your motor would of still been running that ship wouldn't of looked so big.
![]() Also instead of a water pressure gauge you could have an air cool motor |

Hell no it didn't at the time. It dawned on me when the ol' lady was freaking out yelling. I work right by the Conoco docks and I have never seen a ship that big comming in.
And back to the ol' lady.... Figured I would get her some of that Berkly Gulp to fish with under a popping cork. I have never personally fished with it but the dang hard heads that bait catches. |

I put a water pressure gauge on my motor. Now everyone at the launch is always yelling at me that my motor is not peeing.
